Hi. I am a very bored individual and since I love fashion & what not I decided to make a "personal but not really" kind of blog where I can post my outfit of the day, nail of the day, or random make up of the day. Thanks for stopping by and for taking probably a minute of your life to read this nonsense. Au voir!

I am the biggest sucker for lipsticks, lipglosses, and chapsticks. For a normal girl like me that doesn’t do Youtube videos nor a freaking celebrity, I think I have enough lip products in my collection. I could never go out of the house without having to put some color on my lips. It’s not gonna happen. I just feel so naked without it. So with no further ado, I would like to share to you guys my favorite summer lip colors!

I picked up these Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss a long time ago but just never had the opportunity to use it cause 1. I had school for like the longest time and being a nurse, you really don’t want to wear bright colored lipgloss to work and 2. I was stuck with my nudes for some time and I just recently got over it so this Summer, I made a promise to myself that I’m gonna make a lot of use of these lipglosses! And I did!

I must say that these are the best Revlon lipglosses there has ever been and I am glad I picked them up! I got them in Pink Pop, Coral Reef, and Lilac Pastelle. Aside from the awesome fact that they’re inexpensive, the product itself is amazing. The gloss is very opaque and a little dab on your lips goes a long way! The only downside to this product is that it has a dough foot applicator & the first time you put on the gloss it feels really sticky but I find it that once the products sits in your lips it doesn’t feel as sticky anymore. Aside from those two, these lipglosses are a must haves! My favorite out of the 3 is probably the Pink Pop just because I love hot pink on my lips during summer. I like using Coral Reef too but I just don’t feel like it goes well with my skin tone. And I only use Lilac Pastelle on top of any pink lipstick because it gives a nice sheen and extra oohmp to your lips!

Here are the swatches I took on my arm. I only did one coat to show how opaque these lipglosses are! Isn’t it crazy? I am in love with them!

Maybelline The Falsies is my new best friend.
Yes, yet another hype on Youtube. Most talked. Most faved. Most everything. I think every guru I’m subscribed to included this product in their monthly favorites and I am not even kidding. I always wondered what does this mascara do that everyone is raving about it NONNNNNNNSTOOOOOOP. I’m not the typical “oh they like it, i might like it too.” I never really wanted to jump on the bandwagon until my Make Up Forever Aqua gave up on me and dried the freak out and it hasn’t even been 6 months. I really liked it. It made my lashes look extra long, so I was like “Mehhh, I don’t want to spend an extra 7 bucks for that crap.” And plus it was from the drugstore. I’m always skeptical buying drugstore products when it comes to make up because 1. I don’t have the perfect skin. I don’t want to butcher it more. 2. I’d rather have a few good quality make up than a bunch of “toss it after 6 months make up” kind of thing. and 3. There’s not a lot of variety to choose from. Don’t get me wrong, I have a ton of drugstore make up too, but sometimes high end make up products are so much better.. Anyways, I’m rambling.. My point is that this mascara is freaking awesome and I think everyone should get it. I finally know why everyone is crazy about it. The wand is shaped like a legit lashes and it gives you this fake lashes effect hence the name. It makes your lashes super long and volumized. I don’t even know if that’s a word, but you know what I mean. It works pretty much like my Make Up Forever Aqua but it’s $20 cheaper! I mean, c’mon! That is totally winning. Here is the picture I took today.. I’m still learning how to take legit eye pictures, but I’m learning. Haha Btw, I didn’t curl my lashes or anything. It must have been the mascara itself. Man I’m telling you, The Falsies is like the mascara God.

I don’t know about you but whenever I am stressed or when I’m having a bad day, one of the many things that could turn my day around would be looking through my nail polish collection and deciding what color I should paint my nails. I find it very therapeutic & it actually works for me. I do retail therapy too, but I do this more than retail since I really don’t have all the money to go out and shop everyday. Lately, I have been obsessing on nail polish and trying on different colors. It’s probably brought by the fact that I will be taking my Exit Exam for Nursing next week and add the love life disaster that happened to me two weeks ago which by the way hasn’t been resolved. Anyway, back to nail polish.. When I got back from my girl time bonding with Jalein, I decided to take off my old polish & paint my nails again…….. (I just painted them last night. See, I have an obsession.) I apologize for the crappy quality. I took them from my Iphone and the quality isn’t the best.

I opted for a bright pink with a twist of milky yellow in my ring finger. I forgot what “trend” it’s called but I’ve seen it done all over Youtube. All the gurus I watch pretty much have used this “trend” and I wanted to try myself. The goal is that the ring finger would be either lighter or darker depending on what you decide to paint the rest of your nails. So here’s my first try..

Not too shabby huh? And siince I am already talking about nail polishes, I’m gonna try and review both of them.

Sinful Colors Professional in 24/7- for the price I paid for this nail polish, this product is totally #winning. I paid 2 something bucks plus tax! I didn’t really expect much out of this but then I really liked the color so Iwas like whatever it’s only a couple bucks, but I was mind blown when I applied it on my nails. It’s very opaque and it’s not too streaky compared to my other Sinful Colors nail polish. It dries out matte so you might want to apply the polish as fast as you can.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Yellow Kitty- this has been raved on youtube for quite sometime. My favorite guru, Ingrid swears by this product so decided to give it a try. In my own opinion, this nail polish isn’t really all that. It’s too streaky and you have to at least put on 3 coats before you get your desired outcome. It’s a waste of money considering I paid $7. But nonetheless, it’s still nice to have a milky yellow polish in your collection.
